However, in a world where physical contact can sometimes be misinterpreted or restricted, it is essential to advance the science and practice of positive touch. Investing in research and initiatives that promote positive touch can enhance individual well-being, improve interpersonal relationships, and contribute to a healthier society.

One of the main complaints of couples in sex therapy is desire differences. We want to separate ‘affection’ and ‘sexual desire’ as a way for couples to not become touch starved because they are navigating sexual desire differences. We’ve developed assessments and tools to help individuals and therapists to gain confidence to differentiate between precious touch and sexual desire.
